So as I've stated on my home page, I am currently doing my certificate II in Animal Studies. I absolutely love it, it is so much fun and so rewarding! Each week I go to a wildlife sanctuary for my course and also once a week I go to the RSPCA for work placement.
This week for Tafe my class went to the home of a couple who look after injured and orphaned wombats so that we could re-vamp an enclosure for two of their wombats.
Not only is it fun, it was rewarding because we get to see some of the wombats that they currently are looking after, they have 5!
They have two small orphaned wombats which they are caring for, a sick wombat and two older orphaned wombats.
I was lucky enough, the first time we helped out with the enclosures, that I got to hold one of the baby wombats, Sam!
